Showing FAQs

Can I do a virtual tour, I am still out of the area?


We do require that you view the property before you apply if you are local to the 
area. Virtual showings may be able to happen on a case-by-case basis. If you’re 
moving from out of state, please contact me directly and I can explain how to 
proceed.

Your system will not let me book my showing, can you assist?


Our system will not let you book a showing if the details that you enter 
do not meet our requirements regarding the move in date. We do 
require a move in date that is within 14 days of application approval. 
From application competition to approval, it typically takes 3-5 business 
days although we try to work faster. If your move in date is flexible, 
please enter an earlier date into our system and proceed to schedule 
the showing. If your move in date is not flexible and does not line up 
with our requirements, we encourage you to continue in your rental 
search or to check and see if the listing is still available when the 
timeline lines up for you.

Can I have the application link?


For those who have viewed the property:
The application link is sent in approximately 1-2 hours after the showing 
with an email titled “Thank you for Viewing [Property Name]!”.
 For those who have not viewed the property:
 We do require that you view the property before you apply if you are local 
to the area. If you’re moving from out of state, please let me know and I can 
explain how to proceed.
 

What date do I have to move in by?


Properties are available for immediate move in. A lease start date must be within 
14 days of application approval. The application process typically takes 3-5 
business days, though we try to work faster.
 I am running a little bit early or late, can I get in?
 You may enter with the texted link instructions 30 minutes before and 
after your showing time. If you are running later than this, you will not be 
able to access the unit. Please note that there may be other showings 
scheduled before or after yours and please be courteous of others.

Can I book another showing?


Of course, you can schedule as many showings as you would like. Find the 
property in our available rentals at TheJosephGroup.com/find-a-rental-home 
and schedule a showing through the website.

Can I reschedule or cancel my showing?

Of course. You will have an email that was sent directly after scheduling your 
showing confirming the details. Click on the blue button that says “Showing 
Details.” It will take you to a screen that says “Return to the schedule page to 
update or cancel your showing.” From there, you can reschedule your showing for 
the time that works for you or cancel it.

I haven’t received the lockbox code yet, what should I do?

First, you must confirm the showing by responding to a confirmation 
text that is sent in the day/hour prior to your showing. If you do 
not respond to the showing through this text, your showing will be 
automatically canceled 2 hours before the showing time. Once you 
confirm your showing, you will receive another text that will include 
a link and all instructions on how to access the unit through the 
lockbox..
